Canine Behavioural Development
This course will provide an introduction to how dogs develop behavioural characteristics throughout the stages of their life. It will include but not be limited to the importance of developmental periods, the importance of play and the ways a puppy can be socialised.
Canine Behavioural Disorders

Basic Dog Training Principles
This course will provide an introduction to the basic principles on which dog training is based and how this translates to training a dog. It will include but not be limited to how conditioning works, key facts regarding socialisation and basic training, and how to formulate a behavioural modification plan.
Dog Obedience Training
This course will explore the various ways a dog can be trained to perform predetermined actions upon command, and will include but not be limited to the importance of obedience training, how commands can be taught to a dog and key facts regarding the basic concepts behind obedience training.
Controlling a Dog’s Movement
This course will provide an introduction to the movement of dogs and how it can be controlled, both through training and other methods. It will include but not be limited to reasons why a dog may escape and changes that can be made to prevent a dog from escaping.

This course will explore the different ways a dog can be trained to perform tasks required as a working dog and will include but not be limited to the importance of working dogs and how a working dog can be trained.
