Certificate III in Security Operations (CPP30411)
This is a nationally accredited course which is best suited to people who already have their security licence as Online Courses Australia does not offer this qualification as a licensing course. The Certificate III in Security Operations will improve the knowledge and skills of Security Officers already working within the security industry.

Licensing Requirements
Please note: There are strict licensing conditions with regards to this security qualification. This qualification does not meet any licensing conditions -- Online Courses Australia offers this course as a higher level qualification for people who are already licensed as a Security Officer and/or those who simply require supervisor or higher level skills within the security field.
If you require a Security Officer Licence you must complete the Certificate II in Security Operations. You must also ensure
you visit your local licensing authority for the latest and most up to date information.
Recognition and Accreditation
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally accredited Certificate III in Security Operations. There are no pre-requisites to this course.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Operational Officers and Government Staff can be assessed either by Recognition of Prior Learning or Recognition of Current Competency Assessment. Practical operational training workshop assessments may also be conducted upon approved from the director of Government & Public safety.

The above units have been designed especially for 100% online training - so you can gain your qualification without practical workshops. However, if you require specialist pathways, you can enquire about our practical workshops in Brisbane.
**This unit is to be completed with a local training provider as OCA does not offer this elective. It is the responsibility of the student to enrol and participate in this unit with a registered local provider and provide OCA with a certified copy of their statement of attainment in order for the qualification to be issued on completion. Should you already hold a current first aid certificate you must send a certified copy to OCA on enrolment.
How Long Does The Course Take?
Total nominal hours: 372 hour | Full-time load: 25 hrs/wk; 15 weeks full-time | Part-time load: 12 hrs/wk; 31 weeks part-time
Maximum 12 months access to online course (approximately 22-30 hours to complete each unit).
This is a competency based course. Nominal hours are a guide only. If you spend more than 12 hours per week on a unit it is expected that you will complete your qualification in a shorter time frame. This course is conducted online
