Service of Gambling.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to provide responsible gambling services, and information to customers who require assistance with their problem gambling. The responsible service of gambling (RSG) program is recommended for anyone who is currently employed in, or intends to work in, a gambling environment.
The unit also relates to satisfying the requirements for providing responsible gambling services under state and territory legislation. The terms used to describe this vary across state and territory regulatory bodies and can include responsible conduct of gambling (RCG) and responsible service of gaming or responsible service of gambling (RSG).

Upon successful completion of this unit of competency you will receive a Statement of Attainment for part of the industry qualification, Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management (SIT60107).

Course Delivery
This course is delivered 100% online. Upon enrolment students are issued with a login and password, providing access to OCA's e-learning centre. This course is delivered online in association with registered training organisation 131102.
Recognition and Accreditation
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally accredited Certificate in Government Provide Responsible Gambling Services. There are no pre-requisites to this course.

Please note, this RSG course does not license you to be a gaming attendant. To become a licensed gaming attendant you must apply separately in your state to the Gaming Commission for a Gaming Licence or Special Employee Licence. New South Wales and Victoria have specific RSG training requirements and people from these states need to undertake the training approved by the relevant regulatory body.
