Centrelink is transforming the way they operate and making it easier for students to view advance payments, receipts, and transactions and update their study details. They've just announced a new free application called Express Plus Students, which you can download to your iPhone, iPad, iPad Touch or Android device.
Once you've downloaded the app and verified your identity you will get access to a number of different services, which Centrelink offers. The app is only for Centrelink students who receive Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY, Pensioner Education Supplement or ABSTUDY Pensioner Education Supplement.
To use the Free App students need to be registered for Centrelink Online Services and receive their four digit personal identification number. They can then download the app enter their pin and password and receive access to:
- View Advance Payments
- View Your Payment History
- View Receipts For Transactions
- View Your Profile
- View And Update Study Details
- Use A Reporting Timesheet To Record Daily Earnings
- Find The Nearest Service Centre
The Express Plus Students app should make the management of Centrelink payments easier for students. It will also help students who are on the go to keep record of all transactions and earnings they make.
