How do I enrol?
Enrolment is easy, click on the enrol now link located at the bottom of each of our course information pages and follow the simple steps. For further information please contact us.
When can I start a course?
You can start a course at any time.
Are there any pre-requisites for my course?
In most cases you do not require prior learning. Where relevant, you will be advised of pre-requisite requirements on our course information brochures.
Will I receive a certificate?
You will receive an online certificate upon completion of your course and a hard-copy certificate will be mailed to you within 5-10 working days of successfully completing your course.
Can I afford to study?

When will I receive my first set of course materials?
Following your enrolment and payment you will be issued with a log-in to onlinecoursesaustralia.com.au. Simply log-in and commence your course online. For more information view our e-learning demo.
How long will my course take?
It's up to you. Please note, each course has a different access time frame (from 3 months - 18 months) depending on the course.
What if I need help with my course?
If you require assistance with your course you can:

What if I fail a unit or several units within my course?
All OCA courses are competency based. If you receive a not yet competent (NYC) for your online assessment, you can simply try again as you have three attempts.
How long will it take to get my work marked?
Most interactive assessments are marked immediately. For
practical units, assessments will be marked within 5-10
working days.
Do I need to attend exams?
No. However if your course involves practical components (such as practical security and aviation units), there will be some requirements to attend class. Please refer to the course information brochure for more details.
Are there any pre-requisites for my course?
None of the courses require you to have prior knowledge of the subject.
Can I apply for Recognition of Prior Learning
(RPL)
Yes. Applicants who have undertaken relevant study or who have
relevant work experience may be eligible to receive recognition for

I am currently residing in Australia on a student visa. Can I study with Online Courses Australia?
If you are currently residing in Australia on a student visa you are unable to study an accredited course with OCA. However you can complete one of our many non-accredited short courses for your own personal interest. Please note that this will not meet your student visa requirements. For requirements in applying for or meeting the requirements of a student visa please contact the Department of Immigration & Citizenship.
